Each month Dolittle’s highlights an employee's lovable pet. These wonderful critters are the first line of approval for all things Dolittle’s. Whether it's a new food or a tried and true toy, our employees' pets are the ideal test audience. Join us as we host an interview with each of them.
You will gain some insightful information as these dogs and cats offer us unfiltered opinions of their lives on the couch, in the car, at the food bowl, and everywhere in between.
This month we are chatting with Ollie. Ollie shares the couch at home with Beverley from our Charleston location.
DOLITTLE’S: Hello Ollie. Thanks for giving us a minute of your time. Ollie? Where are you going? We did bring trea…oh, welcome back. Tell you what, we’ll give you a treat for each answer. Will that keep your attention? Great. Let’s begin.
DOLITTLE’S: What’s the best car ride you have been on?
OLLIE: ThebestrideiseverySaturdaymorninggoingtoHamptonPark.
OLLIE: *eager stare*
D: Oh right! Here you go. One trea…(*crunch*) as promised. Moving on: What’s the craziest creature you have met?
O: A crazy chicken that kept trying to peck me.
D: Seems like there’s more to that story.
O: Nope. Crazy chicken, that’s about it. How about another one of those treats?
D: You bet. Tell us some of your favorite things to sniff, ya know besides the obvious?
O: Spanish Moss!! I love to sniff it and then of course pee on it.
D: Of course. You have to let the neighborhood know that it’s your moss, right?
O: Absolutely. (*crunch*)
D: What do you do when no-one is watching?
O: Bulldoze all the pillows off the couch, which is part of my daily routine.
D: You’re a regular home decorator.
O: The couch and I spend a lot of time together (*crunch*) Most of the day I’m hanging out on the back of it watching the streets from criminal activity.
D: Are you catching any bad guys?
O: Oh no, no. That’s someone else's job. I just raise the alarm. The humans can sort out the rest. (stare)
D: Oh right. (*crunch*) Speaking of your humans, what is the best thing that they do for you?
O: Work at Dolittles! The amazing food & treats she brings to me are absolutely the best!
D: Two treats for that excellent response. Aside from the food and treats, what else do you love about Dolittle’s?
O: Such as?
D: You know, do you like the self service bath, or the toys, or the huge selection of collars?
O: Dolittle’s has those things? That’s news to me. I’m pretty focused on the secret drawer behind the counter.
D: Ah. The one with the trea…
O: That’s the one. (*crunch*)
D: Thanks for your time Ollie. We’ll let you get back to the neighborhood watch. Ollie? Where’d you go?
